Tell us about your career in the fitness and nutrition industry?
I have been engulfed in the fitness world my entire life. I got my first gym membership when I was 12 years old, and have been working in gyms since I was 18 years old. I was a cheerleader growing up, and my mom has always been a personal trainer, so I grew up in an active household. While working out one day, I was recruited off the weight floor to come work at the gym- I haven’t looked back since!
What inspires you?
Results and recognition inspire me greatly. When I receive the results that I was working so hard towards it just makes me that much more inspired to go above and beyond.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
My main goal in working in the environment I do, is inspiring people to continue to strive to be the best they can be. My goal is to have people sweating and smiling when they leave.
My most favorite clients are the ones that don’t believe it will work for them, and then it does. They are overcome with joy and truly believe in themselves, not only do they feel great, but so do I because I’m the one that guided them there.
What special qualities do you bring to your coaching?
The fact that I have been through the trial and error period with food. We have perfected the nutrition aspect of fitness. We have plenty of examples to show that this kind of approach works for every person regardless of shape, size, or age.
What is your favorite kitchen hack?
My favorite Nutrition hack is mashed cauliflower. I have just recently discovered it, and it’s amazing! Makes you feel like you are eating mashed potatoes.
