When we try to stick to our new, balanced habits it helps to have some tricks up your sleeve to help stay on track.
Here are some tricks Team Balanced Habits™ employs to simplify our lives.
✔ Plan
✔ Prep

✔ Make most of your weekly protein on Sunday. If you have a family that you cook for, or not, adjust accordingly. In our homes we like to be prepared for the week ahead. In this image is a big bowl of tuna salad, about 3 pounds of chicken breast tenders using neutral seasonings, egg salad and some left-over hard boiled eggs. Now we’re on track to stick to our goals and save a ton of money too!
✔ We prep the prepared protein so we can toss things together quickly. In example, we diced up the chicken and slice up the cooked links.
✔ If we don’t get to all of the prepped protein, quite a bit of it can be frozen for future use.

✔ Sunday night, we like to toss together enough little meals, in the right unit portions, to get us through about two days at a time. In the morning all we do is grab our baggie/container of prepped food and we’re all set! We stay on track and save money ☺ Team BH likes to do this every other night.
These tips and tricks become a balanced habit if you do them enough and just a way of life. We hope they help you too!
