Halfway through 2020
Although it’s been a rough first six months, the opportunity to learn and grow as a person and as a business has never been greater. As an entrepreneur we are challenged on an almost daily basis, although government mandated shut-downs, home isolation, protests, rioting/looting, and Murder Hornets? Nothing but personal experience could prepare you for that!
Here we are, almost on the other side of all of the above, what you do from this point forward for the final six months of 2020 is extremely important. A true make it break it time of your life. An entrepreneur will see opportunity and reinvent themselves by building back or starting over.
For the sake of this discussion, let’s assume you are going to build back your business and recoup the losses you incurred. You certainly don’t have the same business you had in February. Maybe you never will. Which brings me to the opportunity thought. You have a very distinct opportunity to rebuild your business to be better than it was before. What will that look like for you?
Tighter margins? Fewer employees? Higher ticket prices? More personal time, (now that you’ve been reminded how valuable that is)? More creative strategies to increase revenue? More efficient systems and processes for improved efficiency? More leadership and mentorship to create a stronger team? …do you see where I’m going here?
Opportunities that you didn’t see or maybe have back in February. Pretty exciting if you ask me.
It’s been during this chaos that Balanced Habits™ saw our opportunity to reinvent how we have been doing business since ’13. We immediately jumped into the fire and developed new systems and processes, thereby giving our licensees a chance to maintain at least some revenue while their doors have been locked. We didn’t skip a beat to develop new pathways for our licensees to continue to support their communities under what could be described as nightmare circumstances.
When you get to reopen, if you have not been able to do so already, you have to admit to yourself that you need to figure out other, meaningful and beneficial revenue streams that are not reliant on the foot traffic in your doors. That must be crystal clear to you now.
As a Fitness Professional, you inherently know that fitness and nutrition go hand in hand. If we can agree on anything, that’s it. We know this.
So, I ask you, when you see your ideal business performing in the next six months of 2020, how do you want to see that? Trying to cobble together what you had or to paint a different picture that better serves you personally as a leader, better serves your team by doing more fulfilling work, and better serves your community by providing them what they truly need to become (and stay) healthy?
Balanced Habits™ has everything you need to make this a reality.
We were created in the fitness industry to serve the fitness industry. We know what you need to be successful. We know what your team needs to be successful. We know what your clients need to be successful. And we provide it all.
Let’s rebuild your fitness business together. The opportunity is now.
Schedule a time to talk with Paul about how we can provide what you need.
Sincerely,
Carolyn
