What circumstances led to your participation in Balanced Habits nutrition?

At age 72, i noticed I was losing weight—and more importantly, muscle. I needed to get stronger and healthier, not only by training but by eating more deliberately andregularly. As I told my trainer, I ate like a bird, drank like a fish, and worked like a dog.

Have you made any attempts to improve your diet and fitness in the past?

No, I haven’t needed to (or thought that anyway). And I haven’t had a weight issue—but actually I did. I would say previous attempts to maintain my weight mostly included portion control or just not eating enough. I gained weight and muscle and overall better health. I have begun a healthier regimen of eating protein on a regular basis and I’m getting stronger. I [now] have a better appreciation for balance in eating. I liked the recipes and daily lessons in the program.
