The last few weeks, we’ve been harping on self-starting and finding motivation to continue to work towards your goals even when you don’t feel like it. Of course we are here to motivate you- but as we mentioned, that can only last so long…so what else can we do?

Educate! Balanced Habits™ is a Nutrition Education company as well, so I thought we could change focus today. We have Dietitians, Nutritionists, Lifestyle experts, and other health and fitness experts on our team that contribute to our educational pieces.

One of the most common complaints I hear from clients wanting to be apart of our nutrition coaching is they just don’t KNOW what to eat anymore. There is so, SO much info out there…and really, where does it come from!? Too many “experts”, spewing all their thoughts especially on social media; So…let’s get back to basics here.

Check out this picture of a sandwich: A basic, “you can get almost anywhere” sandwich. It has all the pieces we would suggest a client consume in a meal.

  • Protein for satiety, muscle/tissue repair and maintenance.
  • Carbohydrates for energy, volume, vitamins and minerals.
  • Fats for satiety and fatty acids.

This is one easy recommendation we make for each client- balance out your consumption of macronutrients throughout the day, meaning, it is best to consume carbs, fats, and proteins in combination when eating.

The difference for each client may be how much of this sandwich to eat…and at what point in their day to enjoy it. *If you’re Vegetarian or Vegan, or have some other dietary restriction or preference- no problem- we can address that too.

We don’t shun carbs, we don’t shackle your options, we don’t ground food into powder then sell it to you in little rip-open bags.

We just teach you WHAT, WHEN, HOW, and HOW MUCH to eat.

We’ve got an easy-to-implement-and-UNDERSTAND-plan for anyone.

If you have any questions about our coaching programs, please schedule a time to chat so we can learn how to best assist you.

Take care of YOU!
