Tell us about your career in the fitness and nutrition industry?
I have been a personal trainer for over 10 years. I have always loved athletics and had been training with a trainer for over a year, she encouraged and mentored me into getting into the industry. I quickly fell in love and made it my full time career. Now after 2 children I only work part time but still with that same passion.
What inspires you?
What inspires me is to push myself and others towards their goals. I like to encourage people to go after what they desire and help them along the process.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy the personal connection with my clients. I love watching them find joy in something they never thought they could achieve.
What special qualities do you bring to your coaching?
I feel my best qualities are that I am encouraging and can easily connect with people. That allows us to have a personal relationship which allows the clients to trust me throughout the process.
What are your most memorable client experiences as a Food Coach?
As a food coach my most memorable experience is watching clients who have struggled with proper nutrition be able to finally commit and stick to a proper meal plan without it being difficult.
What is your favorite Food Hack?
I am not a great cook. I like fast and easy. My favorite hack is when I find myself unprepared to buy cooked pulled chicken or turkey from the local grocery store and a bagged salad to make a quick fast meal.
Tell us something that not everyone knows about you?
I have two beautiful daughters that occupy my time away from the gym so my day often involves early mornings, crafts and dance parties.
